“FUNDRAISING FOR OUR CHILDRENS’ FUTURE”

The Hintlesham School Association, HSA, was set up in 1994 to raise money and provide additional funds for the school. Each year we subsidise school swimming, provide transport for some school trips and purchase equipment required by the school which will advance the education of its pupils. A trip around the school will show many items that the HSA has paid for over the years, including the smart boards in the classrooms, computers, laptops and outdoor play equipment in Class 1.

Every parent is automatically a member of the HAS, but volunteers are required to be on the committee to arrange the fundraising and work closely with the school to purchase what is required. It is a great opportunity to get involved and meet other parents, and can be very rewarding. If you don’t think that you can spare the time to be on the committee but would like to help out at our events, then do let us know and become a HSA Buddy.

So what events do we have? Every year we have the Strawberry Fayre, which is our biggest fundraiser, and we have also arranged quiz nights, toy sales, family discos, Christmas fayres, sponsored events and many more.

Strawberry Fayre - Saturday July 17th

This year's Strawberry Fayre was an enormous success, raising more than £1,100 for the school. The hugest thank you for all your support and we hope everyone enjoyed themselves.
